HOW IT WORKS

Getting Started is Simple

Your club is committed to developing players, and referees are a key part of the game. With support from The Referee Advocates, you’ll have a clear path to get started and grow.

Get Certified

Register to get the annual USSF license. This certification is required to work games! You must be at least 13 years old to be able to register for a course.

Apply with TRA

Complete TRA Referee Application to join the referee community. Once you are onboarded, you will get access to games based on your level and experience.

Start Officiating!

Start working games for your club with TRA support, mentorship, and a community behind you.

If you're 11-12, you can get trained with The Referee Advocates in the Junior Program.
